Spent 2 months in the Soviet Union, resulting in a news series, two half-hour documentaries, The Sleeping Giant and Testing The Limits, and the one-hour documentary OBMIN - a 1991 CanPro Gold winner.

In the photograph, George is pictured at the train station in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (now in the Slovak Republic), with four of the students participating in the exchange program, and some of the 17 cases of gear he brought along!
